Community Involvement in Mount Vernon, WA
Skagit Plumbing is more than a plumbing company serving Mount Vernon, WA, and nearby communities in Skagit County. We are a local team that believes strong neighborhoods are built through service, generosity, and showing up for the people and organizations that make this region a better place to live.
Our slogan, Staked in Community, reflects how we approach both plumbing and local involvement. We are committed to family, community, and the people who call Northwest Washington home. From helping homeowners with urgent plumbing problems to supporting local nonprofits through our Skagit Matters campaign, our team is proud to invest in the place we serve.
Skagit Matters: Supporting Local Nonprofits
Skagit Matters is one of the ways Skagit Plumbing supports the community. Through this campaign, we select three local nonprofits and invite the community to vote for the organization they want to help. After voting ends, we donate to each participating organization based on its placement in the final results.
This campaign gives local residents a voice in the giving process. Instead of simply choosing one nonprofit behind the scenes, Skagit Matters allows homeowners, businesses, neighbors, customers, and community members throughout Skagit County to participate. Every vote helps bring attention to local organizations doing meaningful work.
The goal is simple: support local nonprofits, encourage community engagement, and make giving something everyone can be part of.
- Three Local Nonprofits: Each campaign focuses on three local organizations serving families, children, education, health, housing, and community needs throughout Skagit County.
- Community Votes: Community members are invited to vote for the nonprofit they want to support. Every valid vote brings visibility to local organizations.
- Donations Awarded: At campaign end, donations are awarded based on final voting results — 1st: $1,000 · 2nd: $500 · 3rd: $250.
