Hospice of the Northwest

We have supplemental care services and supports provided by hospice care aides and volunteers. In addition to traditional hospice treatments to reduce symptoms and increase comfort, we offer a number of non-medication-based therapies and services. These Integrative Services provide additional options to include in each patient’s individualized care plan, allowing you to decide what is most important to you during this time.

We pride ourselves on prioritizing dignity and autonomy, providing each patient with a personalized care plan that meets their specific needs and goals. We respect your beliefs and attitudes toward medicine. We will work with you and your circle of support to find a treatment plan that supports your priorities and provides what is most important to you at this time.

Skagit Humane Society

The Humane Society of Skagit Valley is a non-profit organization founded in 1974. Our mission is to provide a safe haven, sheltering and caring for abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals in Skagit County. We are committed to treating animals with dignity and respect, placing them in loving homes. Our public education programs increase awareness of the necessity for humane treatment and spay/neuter options for all animals.

The Humane Society of Skagit Valley is not a county or municipal shelter. Although we provide services through contracts with Skagit County and nearby cities, we rely on the proceeds from fundraising events, charitable gifts, and bequests to pay our operating costs. We truly appreciate the generosity of community donors as well as the amazing efforts of volunteers at the shelter, thrift store, and events.
