Children of the Valley is driven by a dedicated team united in our mission to uplift the lives of children in need. At every location, we are proud to have compassionate professionals whose unique skills and expertise set them apart. Together, their collaborative efforts ensure that COV operates seamlessly and effectively. We are also deeply grateful for the support of countless community volunteers. Their generosity, expertise, and heartfelt commitment to children make our work not only possible but truly impactful.
Children of the Valley serves under-resourced children and their families by valuing their cultural identity and empowering them through education, personal growth, and mentorship. Our vision at COV is to empower students to dream big by providing a positive life-changing experience that gives them the skills and confidence to fulfill their greatest potential.
Each year, Camp Korey brings joy, community, and new adventures to nearly 2,000 campers living with life-altering medical conditions and their parents, siblings, and caregivers. As a proud member of the SeriousFun Children’s Network, Camp Korey is more than a camp, it’s a place where challenges transform into triumphs, and where the spirit of community and adventure thrives. Our programs not only bring smiles to the faces of our campers but also create a supportive network for families who are navigating life’s journey with resilience and hope.
It’s a place where kids with life-altering medical conditions can just be kids, entirely free of charge. We believe that all children should be able to experience both the joys of childhood and the profound, life-changing impact of camp. Every year, thousands of campers and family members gather in a community of people with shared experiences to sing, dance, laugh, grow, and discover their potential in a medically safe and adaptable environment.
The mission of the Children’s Museum of Skagit County is to promote, encourage and increase an understanding of the arts, science, culture, and literature among the children, youth, families, and educators in Skagit County and beyond. We carry out our mission by providing engaging exhibits, programs for children and families, a preschool, camps and classes, field trips, and celebrations. It has always been our vision to make the museum and programs accessible to all, and as inclusive as possible.
